ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Tennis (4-2) begins a four-match stretch this week, starting with a home match on Friday before traveling to Arkansas for three road contests. The Griffons enter the week riding a two-match winning streak after victories over Midland (7-0) and Minnesota State (6-1).
MoWest hosts Ouachita Baptist on Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at Genesis Health Club. The Griffons will then head south to face Arkansas Tech on Sunday, March 15 at 12 p.m. in Russellville, followed by Henderson State on Monday, March 16 at 12 p.m. in Arkadelphia. The trip concludes Tuesday, March 17 with a 3 p.m. matchup against Southern Arkansas in Magnolia.
Leading the way for the Griffons is junior Johanna Priedite, who was named the MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after strong performances in both doubles and singles during the wins over Midland and Minnesota State. Priedite also sits ranked No. 43 in the ITA Women's Tennis Singles Rankings.

Griffon Tennis will open MIAA play on the road March 28 at Fort Hays State, with first serve set for 12 p.m. in Hays, Kansas. The Griffons will then face Nebraska-Kearney on March 29 at 12 p.m. in Kearney, Nebraska.
