WARRENSBURG, Mo. – MoWest men's golf sits in 13
th place after two rounds of play in The Mule at Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg.
The Griffons' two-round total of 589 (+29) is four shots behind 10
th place Henderson State. Central Oklahoma is firmly in first with a 544 (-16) – a full 11 shots ahead of second place Central Missouri. There are 20 total teams in the field.
MoWest shot 295 (+15) in round one and 294 (+14) in round two.
Aiden Asby leads the Griffons with a two-round total of 144 (+4), tying him for 26
th. Asby was three shots better in his second round, shooting a 71 (+1) and birdying five holes.
Parker Boggins surged in the second round. After a 77 (+6) in round one, he fired a 69 (-1) in round two, putting his two-round total at 146 (+6). He also birdied five times in the second round.
Ethan Mustard is tied for 50
th with a two-round score of 149 (+9).
Tim Johnston is in 67
th with a 151 (+11), while twin brother
Patrick Johnston is 79
th with a 153 (+13).
