KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its 2025 Women's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, and the Griffons were selected to finish eighth.
Missouri Western collected 29 points in the poll, ahead of Central Oklahoma (26), Rogers State (21) and Emporia State (19). Pittsburg State was picked to repeat as the MIAA Champion this season with 100 points and 10 first-place votes. The Gorillas were followed by Northwest (91 [1]) and Washburn (82).
The Griffons have officially started their season following their debut at the Reiver Rust Buster last weekend in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Currently, events are taking place at the Texas Relays and the OBU Invitational.
