ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - It was an action-packed GSI Podcast with coaches from both basketball teams, baseball, golf, lacrosse and track and field joining the show to recap a busy week for spring sports, and post season fun for the winter sports at Hi-Ho Bar and Grill.
 
Quinn Gundelfinger from Griffon Baseball was the lone student-athlete to join the fun. The senior shortstop reflected on the go-ahead grand slam that helped the Griffons snap a 13-game losing skid in the 13-11 victory over Northeastern State in Sunday's finale.
 
Baseball will open the busy week for MWSU Athletics on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., with a non-conference clash against Maryville from Weber Field in St. Louis. The Saints enter the game with a 6-7 record this season and are coming off an 18-5 loss to Emporia State.
