EDMOND, OKLA. – Producing a rousing final round 69 Saturday, May 11, Missouri Western State University junior Jeffrey Johnston sky-rocketed nearly 20 spots up the individual leaderboard at the 2024 NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Super Regional.
 
Johnston's third round 69 at Kickingbird Golf Course launched him into a tie for 51^st overall (215) and sixth place among the student-athletes not competing with a team. His glittering early May afternoon was spotlighted by a three-under 32 on the back nine which included an eagle on No. 15.
 
Henderson State University's Alex Hadden (200) was the tournament medalist. The University of Central Oklahoma captured the team title by one stroke over HSU (823-824). Complete results are available through a link at www.gogriffons.com.
