ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — After opening up their home schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Maryville, Griffon Softball is back on the road this weekend for the Washburn Invite in Topeka, Kansas.
NOTABLES
- Missouri Western is tied for fifth in the MIAA with hour home runs
- Junior utility player Jada Collins and junior infielder Bubba Hoelscher lead the Griffons with a .500 batting average.
- Collins, Hoelscher, sophomore outfielder Kaylea Fessler and senior outfielder Abby Dickey all lead MWSU with three hits apiece.
- Freshman catcher/infielder Sarah Swallow leads the Griffons with two home runs.
