ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 21 Missouri Western soccer team (14-1-3, 9-1-2 MIAA) will begin its journey to an MIAA Tournament Championship on home turf tomorrow, facing the Nebraska Kearney Lopers (8-5-5, 4-5-3 MIAA) inside Spratt Stadium at noon. Tommy Rezac will provide play-by-play on the

The winner of Sunday's quarterfinal match will advance to the final rounds of the 2024 MIAA Women's Soccer Championship, hosted at the
Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas. The semifinal matches are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, and the championship match is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 16.

Admission for the match will be $5, and spectators aged 12 and under can enter for free. Please note that this is an MIAA event, so
Gold Coat Passes and Season Tickets will not be accepted. Tickets will be available online or at the venue.

In the regular-season match between Missouri Western and Nebraska Kearney, the Griffons defeated the Lopers 1-0 in Kearney, Nebraska.
Junior forward
Rachyl Benavides chipped in her third goal of the season, which turned out to be the game-winning goal against UNK in the 82nd minute.
The MIAA Goalkeeper of the Year,
Keeley Kroonenberg, picked up her fourth straight win and fifth clean sheet of the season with five saves against the Lopers.
Corinne Stewart spearheaded the Griffon offense, which outshot UNK 17-9 with a match-leading five shots (one on goal). Western also ended with an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks and held a 51-49 advantage in time of possession.
