ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Missouri Western came up short against No. 12 Central Missouri 1-0 Friday at home in a non-conference match at Spratt Stadium.
Missouri Western (2-3-2, 0-0 MIAA) kept Central Missouri (5-2, 0-0 MIAA) scoreless in the first half before giving up the lone goal to Lexi Ruf in the 53rd minute in the loss. Keeley Kroonenberg led Missouri Western with six saves. The Griffons recorded six shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Missouri Western faced 12 Central Missouri shots, seven of them on goal.
