ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Missouri Western Soccer and Bemidji State's season-opening bout ended in a 1-1 tie on Friday night at Spratt Stadium.
Missouri Western broke the 0-0 tie when Corrine Stewart scored in the 16th minute, assisted by Jaden Skinner.
The Beavers leveled the match with a goal from Maria Stocke in the 82nd minute. Neither team notched another goal in the match.

- Keeley Kroonenberg totaled three saves for the Griffons out of 12 total Beavers shots.
- Missouri Western recorded three shots on goal.
