Porter named program's first-ever GLVC Defensive Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — University of Indianapolis senior attacker Anna Ziemba and Missouri Western State University junior goalkeeper Mackenzie Porter have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Players of the Week in women's lacrosse.

  • Registered game and season-high 16 saves against eighth-ranked Regis for a .593 save percentage while facing 30 shots.
  • Scooped up career and game-high 12 ground balls against Regis for a single-game program record.
  • Totaled 17 ground balls on the week.
  • Earns first-ever Defensive Player of the Week Award for Missouri Western.
