INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Thursday that four Griffon lacrosse athletes earned All-GLVC recognition, highlighted by one Second Team selection, two Honorable Mention honorees, and one representative on the All-GLVC Sportsmanship Team.
Caetryn Gilreath – All-GLVC Second Team
Gilreath started all 15 games this season, finishing with 31 goals and 1 assist for 32 points. She totaled 58 shots, providing a steady scoring presence throughout the year.
She added 2 game-winning goals and went 7-for-17 on free-position attempts. Defensively, Gilreath contributed 12 ground balls, 27 draw controls, and 8 caused turnovers.
Ava Garaway – All-GLVC Honorable Mention
Garaway appeared in 15 games with 14 starts this season, logging 711:01 minutes in goal. She recorded 126 saves with a .483 save percentage and a 11.39 goals-against average, finishing with a 7-6 record.
She was named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week twice during the season, highlighting her impact in goal.
Garaway's efforts anchored the Griffons defensively throughout the year, consistently stepping up with key saves and controlling the pace in the cage.
Maleah Sosa – All-GLVC Honorable Mention
Sosa appeared in 15 games with 12 starts this season, finishing with 7 goals and 13 assists for 20 points. She totaled 23 shots with 13 on goal while serving as a key facilitator in the Griffons' attack.
She added 1 game-winning goal and went 1-for-3 on free-position attempts. Sosa also contributed across the field with 24 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers.
Brittan Gulick – All-GLVC Sportsmanship Team
Gulick appeared in 15 games this season, making 2 starts, and finished with 8 goals and 6 assists for 14 points. She recorded 27 shots with 21 on goal, adding 2 game-winning goals and going 2-for-4 on free-position attempts.
She also contributed across the field with 17 ground balls, 3 draw controls and 10 turnovers.
Gulick's effort and leadership were key components for the Griffons throughout the season, earning her recognition on the GLVC Sportsmanship Team.
What's Next
The No. 4 seed Griffons hit the road to take on the No. 1 seed Indianapolis Greyhounds on Friday, May 1 in the opening round of the GLVC Tournament. First draw is set for 1 p.m. in Indianapolis.
