ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Missouri Western Soccer fell 2-0 at home to Northwest Missouri State on Sunda at Spratt Stadium.
Keeley Kroonenberg led Missouri Western (5-7-6, 3-4-4 MIAA) with seven saves. The Griffons recorded 10 shots in the loss, seven of them on goal. Missouri Western faced 17 Northwest (8-4-6, 5-2-4 MIAA) shots, nine of them on goal.
Northwest found a goal in each half. Adell Gore scored in the 32nd minute, and Ekaterina Theoharidis scored in the 51st.
