CLAREMORE, Okla. — Missouri Western Soccer got goals from Jaden Skinner and Elisabeth Pujado in a 2-0 shutout win against Rogers State on Friday at Soldier Field.
Missouri Western (5-5-5-, 3-2-2 MIAA) broke the 0-0 tie when Pujado scored her third goal of the season in the 49th minute. The Griffons increased their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Skinner -- her ninth goal of the season -- in the 53rd minute. Neither team notched another goal in the game. This loss drops Rogers State to 6-7-2 overall and 3-5 in the conference.
GAME NOTES
- Keeley Kroonenberg totaled four saves for the Griffons out of seven total Hillcat shots.
- Missouri Western collected 14 shots on goal and 24 overall.
- Skinner's nine goals tie her for second in the MIAA.
