Missouri Western (4-1, 3-1 MIAA) arrives in the media poll at No. 24 after its 34-31 win over then-No.11/10 Emporia State last Saturday at Spratt Stadium. As for the AFCA Top-25 Poll, MWSU received 28 votes but remains unranked. The Hornets dropped to No. 20 in the AFCA Poll and No. 17 in the D2Football.com Poll.
