TOPEKA, Ks. – An early Washburn goal downed the Griffons on Friday night at Yager Stadium, pushing Missouri Western to its first losing streak since starting the season 0-2.
Washburn forward Riley Wells scored in the second minute of the game, and the Griffons (3-5-3, MIAA 1-2-1) couldn't fine a way back into the game, as they were out-shot by the Ichabods (8-1-2, MIAA 3-0-1), 12-5.
The end of the game saw multiple cards shown, with five yellow cards handed out as well as a red card on Griffon defender
