ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — An early goal by
Elisabeth Pujado was answered instantly by Central Missouri, and the Griffons went on to fall to the No. 5 Jennies, 4-1.
The Griffons (5-8-4, 3-5-2 MIAA) got the scoring started in the 15th minute with Pujado slotting home a close range effort from a tight angle after a beeline ball from
Kaili Campbell found her at the back post.
Central Missouri (14-1-2, 8-1-1 MIAA) found an answer less than a minute later, and proceeded to add three more goals throughout the 90 minutes. Julia Kristensen scored a hat trick for the Jennies.
