LAKE CITY, Minn. -- Jett Simmons shot the low round of the day to move up two spots on the individual leaderboard and help Missouri Western leapfrog MIAA rival Washburn to finish second at The Watkins Invitational. The Griffons posted a two-day card of 585 (299-286; +9) to outpace the Ichabods' 589 (298-291; +13). Simmons carded a three-under 69 on Tuesday to close with a two-day total of 142 (73-69; -2).
