JOPLIN, Mo. – Opening day for the Missouri Western baseball team has now been pushed back to Sunday as the schedule for the MIAA/GLVC Crossover hosted by Missouri Southern has been altered.
 
The Griffons were schedule to open up on Friday, but due to snow and cold temperatures Missouri Southern has pushed the start of the tournament to Sunday.  Missouri Western will now play a doubleheader on Sunday, February 21.  They'll open with Missouri S&T at 11:00 a.m. and then square off with Missouri Southern for a non-league game at 2:00 p.m.
 
MWSU will wrap up the tournament with a game against Missouri S&T on Monday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m.
 
There will be live video and stats available at the MIAA/GLVC Crossover as all games will be played at Warren Turner Field at Missouri Southern.
