ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Baseball earned academic recognition from the MIAA for the 2026 season, with five student-athletes named to the MIAA Baseball Academic Honor Roll.

Carson Shear, and
Blake Venneman earned Academic Honor Roll recognition for their achievements in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who meet conference academic requirements while competing in their respective sport. The recognition highlights the commitment of Griffon Baseball student-athletes to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
These baseball academic awards do not include first year student-athletes or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release separate academic awards for its 2025-26 newcomers at the end of June.
