KIRKSVILLE, Mo. -- Closing out its fall schedule with a dual match, Missouri Western swept to a 7-0 win at Truman State University on Friday afternoon. The Griffons opened with a 3-0 sweep of doubles action to claim the point, and followed with wins in all six singles matches.
MWSU picked up shutout sets in three of the six singles matches, with
Anya Chavez and
Claudia Iglesias running out 6-0 winners in their respective first sets.
Nicole Donnelly closed out her match at the six line with a 6-0 win after dropping one game in the first set.
