ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Volleyball (9-5, 3-3) won again on Saturday in the MWSU Fieldhouse, evening their MIAA record at 3-3 in four sets over Missouri Southern (8-8, 1-5).

Missouri Western looked to be headed to its second consecutive sweep after taking a commanding 2-0 lead, but Missouri Southern forced a fourth set and the Griffons were able to rally late to claim their second straight win.

NOTABLES
- The Griffons won back-to-back matches for the first time since starting the season 5-0.
- MWSU closed out the fourth and the match with a 5-1 run to break a 20-20 tie.
- Missouri Western totaled 86 digs, the third-most for the team this season and the highest total in a four-set match.
- Maryssa Recio had a career-high 15 kills to lead the Griffons and hit .300.
- Recio was one of three Griffs in double-digit kills along with Ali Tauchen (14) and Sam Duncan (10).
- Tauchen also had 14 digs and hit .323.
- Tiana Butler was four digs short of her career-high, ending with 33.
