EDMOND, Okla. – Central Oklahoma (10-4-2, 5-4) built a hill too steep for Griffon Soccer (4-9-3, 1-6-2) to climb Sunday at Wantland Stadium. UCO led 3-0 before Kaili Campbell got the Griffs on the board in the 84^th minute of a 3-1 loss.
 
Kelsie Eason scored the first two goals for the Bronchos, one in the seventh minute and one in the 13^th. Haley Post made it 3-0 UCO in the 57^th minute. Campbell killed the shutout with her second goal of the season in the high center of the goal.
 
NOTABLES

• After playing every minute of the Griffons' first 15 games, Anna Mayer missed Sunday's match with an injury. Jessica Hill posted 11 saves in her first start as a Griff.
• UCO limited Missouri Western to just four shots, two on goal.
• The Bronchos had 26 total shots in the game.
• Campbell's score gave the Griffons four straight games with a goal
• The loss brought Missouri Western's winless streak to six games, the longest since going 14 straight without a decision to end the 2013 season.
