ST. JOSEPH – Griffon softball hosts six games over three days at the Spring Sports Complex and looks to extend their three game winning streak.

Missouri Western is coming off its most complete weekend where it outscored its opponents 37-17 and batted .352 in four games.  Three different Griffons batted .533 or better in the four games including Shelby Uhl. Uhl was named MIAA Hitter of the Week after she posted a .533 average with nine RBIs and hit for the cycle against Wayne State on March 17. She is believed to be the first Griffon to accomplish the historic milestone.

The weekend's MIAA schedule features Northeastern State who is currently undefeated in conference play and sits atop of the standings. Central Oklahoma was the preseason favorite in the MIAA coaches' poll and is tied for second with a 7-1 league record.

Following the six homes this weekend, Missouri Western doesn't play at home again until April, 6 when Missouri Southern comes to town.
