MARYVILLE, Mo. – Griffon tennis fell 9-0 to Northwest Missouri State at the Frank Grube Tennis Courts in Maryville, Missouri.
 
Sofia Aguilera took the first set at #1 singles 7-5 but dropped the match in the decisive third set.  Joanna Abreu Roman won the second set of her #3 singles match 6-2 to force a third set.  In the third set, Abreu Roman dropped a heartbreaker 10-7.
 
In doubles play, Federica Salmaso and Sofia Aguilera fell in a tough 9-7 match at #1 doubles.  Joanna Abreu Roman and Karolina Strom dropped a close 8-6 decision in #2 doubles.
 
Missouri Western continues the road stretch as it travels to Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on April 8.
