ORLANDO -  Griffon tennis won back-to-back matches, beating Seton Hill 7-2 and Washington College 8-1.
 
Seton Hill opened the first match winning in straight sets at #5 singles but MWSU bounced back with a win from Federica Salmaso at #6 singles 6-0, 6-3.  Missouri Western claimed straight set victories at #3 singles by Sofia Aguilera 7-6, 6-2, Joanna Abreu Roman at #4 singles 6-4, 6-4 and Yasmine El Ghazi in #1 singles 7-5, 6-3. Karolina Str?m bounced back in the second set winning 7-5 and then won the third set 10-4.
 
In doubles play, Karolina Str?m and Joanna Abreu Roman won #2 doubles
8-1. Sofia Aguilera and Yasmine El Ghazi took #1 doubles 8-1
 
Match two of the day saw the Griffons take the first three matches from Washington College. Emilee Dent at #6 singles and Yasmine El Ghazi at #2 singles claimed straight set victories 6-0, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-2. Karolina Str?m took the first set of #1 singles 6-2 and third set 10-4. Federica Salmaso won #4 singles 6-4, 6-0 as Nicole Bonham won 6-2, 6-7, 10-7 in #5 singles.
 
Missouri Western continued its dominating performance, winning all three doubles matches.  Emilee Dent and Federica Salmaso secured the first win at #3 doubles 8-1. Sofia Aguilera and Yasmine El Ghazi won #1 doubles 9-7 as Karolina Str?m and Joanna Abreu Roman took #2 doubles 9-8.
 
MWSU finishes its final match in Florida tomorrow, March 17 against #12 Flagler University.
