Oklahoma City – Missouri Western Women's Tennis picked up their second dual win in three matches after beating Southern Nazarene 5-4.

The Griffons started strong taking two of the three doubles matches after unveiling a new line up.  Joanna Abreu Roman and Karolina Strom took their number two doubles match 9-7.  Yasmine El Ghazi and Katherine Yeacker would cap off the MWSU doubles win by winning 8-4 in number three doubles.

Missouri Western and Southern Nazarene would split the singles matches 3-3.  The Griffons picked up straight set wins at number three singles from Joanna Abreu Roman 6-2, 6-3.  Kaylene Quirk would also get straight set victories 6-1, 6-4 at number six singles.  MWSU's clinching victory came at number five singles from Federica Salmaso, winning in three sets 2-6, 6-2, 6-0.

Missouri Western will compete in the ITA Central Regional Tournament tomorrow and Sunday in Edmond, Oklahoma.
