GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - The Missouri Western tennis team played the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers tough but were unable to came away with any points falling 9-0 in MIAA action. The Griffons fall to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in MIAA play.

The Griffons did not win a game in just two sets. The Griffons most competitive doubles match was at No. 2 doubles when Kayla Dysart and Lindsay Beger fell 8-5 against Britni Norfolk and Kelly Messbarger. In singles action the most competivie match was at No. 3 singles when Denise Chiao fell 6-4, 6-3 against Norfolk.

The Griffons will return to action on Friday, March 15 when they host the University of Central Oklahoma at 10:00 am from the St. Joseph Tennis and Swim Club or Noyes Tennis Courts.
