ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Western women's tennis team fell in MIAA home action 9-0 against the Central Oklahoma Bronchos on Friday morning. The Griffons fall to 3-7 overall and 0-4 in MIAA play.

The Griffons doubles pair of Denise Chiao and Meara Smith had the best outing falling 8-4 against Antonella Rossini and Rose Cabato.

In singles competition No. 1 player Smith fell 6-3 and 6-1 against Rossini while No. 4 player Ceara Boldridge fell to Rose Cabato 6-4 and 6-3.

The Bronchos improve to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in MIAA play.

The Griffons will play another match starting at 3:30 pm from Noyes Tennis Courts in St. Joseph, Mo. against the East Central Tigers.
