Sydney Washington continues to improve during her freshman campaign at Missouri Western...this past week in six games she led the Griffons with a .440 batting average and a .462 on base percentage...Washington had 11 hits to go along with 11 runs scored, one double, two home runs and eight RBI...she also had 18 total bases with one stolen base and six putouts...Washington had a hit in all six games last week and has a hit in nine consecutive...she had double digit hits in four the Griffons six games and had a career high four RBI on two home runs in teh Grifofns 4-3 victory over Lindenwood...in the second game against LWU she had three hits with two RBI and three runs scored...she followed that performance up with four more hits in the doubleheader sweep against Lincoln...she scored three runs and had an RBI in the 12-2 run rule victory in game two against the Blue Tigers...earlier in the week in a doubleheader sweep at Northwest she had two hits with three runs scored a double and an RBI.
