Degner had an outstanding first two games in a Griffon uniform...the junior college transfer finished hitting .500 going 3-for-6 with two extra base hits which included a double and ahome run...in game one with the score tied a two Degner drew a walk leading off the inning and later scored the game winning run on a on Cody Childs sarifice...he went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in game one...in game two he helped the Griffons claw their way back leading off the second inning with his first career home run...he also walked once and had a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .625 on base percentage.
