He covered Nebraska Athletics extensively, doing interviews, articles, daily sportscasts and a couple of weekly Husker talk shows. With a desire to get back into play-by-play full time, Rezac became Sports/News Director for KUTT 99.5 FM (News Channel Nebraska) in Fairbury, Nebraska in August 2018.

In April 2020, Rezac was named the radio voice of NCAA Division II University of Minnesota-Crookston at KROX Radio. Due to changes in the role brought on by COVID-19, Rezac moved to St. Joseph in December 2020.
