MaKayla Trudeau joined MoWest Athletics and the Mosaic Life Care Sports Medicine team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in August 2026. She works primarily with the Griffon volleyball and lacrosse programs.

Trudeau earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from California State University Long Beach in May 2026 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton in 2024. She became a Certified Athletic Trainer in June 2026.

During her time at Long Beach State, Trudeau gained experience working with men's and women's volleyball and cross country. She also gained athletic training experience at Mater Dei High School, Mount San Antonio College and Orange Coast College. Her experience included injury evaluations, rehabilitation programs, injury prevention and return-to-play planning.

In the summer of 2025, Trudeau completed a football internship with UCLA Sports Medicine, where she assisted with treatments, hydration and daily athletic training room operations.

Trudeau also served as the District 8 student representative on the NATA Student Leadership Committee and as Co-President of the Long Beach Sports Medicine Club.
