Kansas City Kansas CC: Was named first team NJCAA All-American, conference MVP, national all-tournament team, first team all-conference and first team all-region...was the KCKCC female student-athlete of the year and twice named NJCAA Academic All-American...three time NJCAA conference player of the week...averaged 3.94 kills per set, 3.13 blocks per set and had 410 digs.

High School: A three-sport star at Marysville High School, she lettered all four years in volleyball, basketball and track...finished her high school career with 1,386 kills, 918 digs and 200 blocks...twice a first team all-conference volleyball player, once all-state and all-state tournament team...honorable mention all-state in basketball...won 10 state medals in track...league champion in 100m, 200m, 4x100 and long jump. 

Personal: Daughter of Mike and Tacy Russell...plans on majoring in convergent media at MWSU...chose MWSU because of the people, facilities and her major...favorite sports moment was winning sub-state championship in volleyball...dad played football at K-State and sister played volleyball at Rockhurst...dream job is to be a photographer.
