Hana Hunt

Hana Hunt came to Missouri Western from Michigan. The 2020-21 seasons were her first at MWSU serving as the graduate assistant coach. Hunt will coach the hurdles and oversee the multi event athletes. 
 
Prior to becoming a Griffon, she was the graduate assistant coach for track & field at Benedictine College where she coached the hurdles, multi athletes and the race walking event. She helped lead Benedictine to its first-ever Heart of America Conference Indoor Track & Field championship in 2015-16. She coached nine conference qualifiers, seven conference scorers, two National qualifiers and one All-American during her time at BC.
 
Hunt received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Detroit Mercy in 2015. While at the UDM, she became the 2015 Horizon League Indoor Pentathlon Champion. She broke two school records; one being her own, was named 2012 Outdoor Rookie of the Year, and the 2015 Titan Club Award winner.
