Outlook: Hunter was the model of consistency while competing at Mt. Hood CC in Oregon...he will add plus defensive to our outfield and will be a very solid offensive player.

2014 season: Played in 44 games with 39 starts...had a .269 average with 35 hits and 20 runs scored...had six doubles, two triples, one home runs and 11 RBI...had a .369 slugging percentage and .338 on base percentage...had 335 putouts with 26 assists...had a .989 fielding percentage...had a season high four hits and three RBI in a victory over Pittsburg State.

Mt. Hood CC: Weiss is a 6-1 outfielder who comes to the Griffons from Mt. Hood CC in Gresham, Ore...while at Mt. Hood he was a second team All-NWAACC Southern Region Outfielder and a Gold Glove NWAACC Southern Region selection...in his two seasons he hit .279 with 58 runs scored, 85 hits, nine doubles, one home run and 42 RBI.

High School: He played his high school baseball at Central Catholic in Portland, Ore...was an first team All-Conference performer both in the outfield and as a pitcher.

Personal: Son of Charlotte and Lenny Weiss...random fact is he loves technology...favorite book is Siddhartha...favorite day of the week is Monday because everyone else dreads it...reason he came to MWSU was because of the baseball program and the change of scenery for him...plans on winning a championship...he plans on majoring in sports management at Missouri Western.
