Zack Price

Zack Price begins his second season as the Griffons graduate assistant in 2017-18.

In his first season, Price helped MWSU defeat its first Division I opponent in 36 years as it beat SIU-Edwardsville. Missouri Western also notched double-digit wins over Nebraska Kearney and Missouri Southern who both finished in the top four of the MIAA. Cole Clearman earned All-MIAA honors as he ranked top in the MIAA for three-point shooting and minutes played. 

Price spent 2015-16 season as a high school assistant coach at Bishop LeBlond High School in St. Joseph, Missouri.  Prior to coaching, Price played at Missouri Western for Coach Brett Weiberg.  As a Griffon, Price was known for defensive toughness and shooting ability.  Before playing at MWSU, he played one season at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Originally from Leawood, Kansas, Price transferred to Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas where he played for Coach Joey Martin.

He graduated from Missouri Western State University with a degree in Sports Management in 2015 and will be pursuing his master’s degree in Sport and Fitness Management.
