Meg Rogers enters her second year as Graduate Assistant in Sports Medicine at Missouri Western in the fall of 2020.
Meg comes to Missouri Western after graduating from The University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Athletic Training. During her time as an undergraduate at Mizzou, Meg worked with several of the athletic teams including football, track and field/cross country, women’s gymnastics, softball, and women’s basketball. She worked with several primary care physicians during a semester and experienced athletic training in a clinical setting. She also worked with Lincoln University for a semester as part of her undergraduate coursework and helped the football and men’s basketball programs while there.
Meg received the Dr. Glenn L. McElroy Award in her senior year of undergrad for Exceptional Attitude and Leadership in the field of Athletic Training.
Meg will be pursuing her master’s in Sport and Fitness Management at Missouri Western.
