Eli Larson joined the MoWest coaching staff as an Assistant Coach - Linebackers after wrapping up his playing career with the Griffons in 2024.

"It's always good for the program when you can hire alums who played in the program who understand the standards and expectations," Head Coach Tyler Fenwick said. "Eli is a good, young coach who will have a bright future in the profession."

Larson has been on staff at MWSU as an assistant strength and conditioning coach since July 2025. He has also coached linebackers at Central High School in St. Joseph since 2025.

During his four-year playing career at MoWest, Larson appeared in 21 games, recording 18 total tackles and three passes defended. He also contributed regularly on special teams throughout his time with the Griffons.
