Outlook: Was the #1 player for Fort Osage High school and a tremendous student (ACT 32)...is an up and coming player that will benefit from the upgrade in competition and should be one our top 6 players this year.

2014 season: Did not see any action...MIAA Academic Honor Roll (3.0 cumulative GPA).

2013 season: Played in three matches as a freshman...won four of her five games...defeated Becky Koch from Mount Marty College 2-0, both sets were shutouts...won a 2-1 match against Shereeja Karki 6-4, 2-6, 7-5...MIAA Academic Excellence Award (4.0 cumulative GPA)...MIAA Academic Honor Roll (3.0 cumulative GPA).

High School: Played her high school tennis at Fort Osage High School in Independence, Mo....had a very accomplished tennis career player playing in the #1 position on her varsity team for three years...was a sectional qualifier and earned first team all-District honors...was voted her teams most improved player twice...is very involved in the community earning numerous awards as well as being in the National Honors Society.

Personal: Daughter of Ron and Jodi Cochran...she plans on majoring in biology -health science...favorite food is smoked salmon...favorite book is Blue Like Jazz...favorite professional sports team is the Colorado Avalanche...favorite athlete is Novak Djokovic...favorite sports moment is making to to sectionals--breaking high school record...her high school coach, Jordan Groves, had the biggest influence in her life...favorite movie is "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"...favorite TV. show is Seinfeld...pregame ritual is that she bounces the ball twice before her serve...when she was a kid, she wanted to be an eye doctor.
