BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Griffon Women's Golf opened the Central Region Fall Preview on Tuesday at Adams Pointe Golf Club, finishing the first round tied for 14th with a team score of 322(+34).
Kylie Ellegood led Griffon Women's Golf in the opening round, firing a 3-over 75 while competing as an individual. Ellegood made the turn at 4-over before closing with a 1-under 35 on the back nine to move into a tie for 13th individually.
Avery Wells led the Griffon lineup with a 4-over 76 and sits tied for 22nd. Wells carded a 39 on the front nine before closing with a 1-over 37 on the back.
Makenna Casey finished one shot behind Wells with a 5-over 77, placing her tied for 29th. Casey opened with a 1-over 37 on the front nine before posting a 40 on the back.
Raleigh Puzio recorded an 11-over 83 and is tied for 65th, while Lauren Mallow shot a 14-over 86 to sit tied for 73rd. Cydney Beckmann rounded out the Griffon lineup with a 15-over 87 and is tied for 76th.
