MoWest added four freshmen and six transfers to a roster that returns three players from last season -
The Griffs added seven guards and three forwards to their lineup. The team is also rich in playing experience with now six total seniors, including a pair of graduate student players.

"We've assembled a strong mix of proven experience and high-level freshmen to help lay the foundation. Our freshman class has competed at the highest level and already delivered real results, combining for four state championships. The junior-college players we signed have all played at the top level of JUCO, with every one of them competing in the NJCAA National Tournament. We also added NCAA transfers who have already built strong careers at that level."
#2 Janiyah Bone (5-8 Jr. G - Madison, Alabama - Bob Jones HS - Shelton State CC)
Shelton State CC (2024-26): Played at Shelton State - the same JUCO where former Griffon great Connie Clarke played. Helped the Bucaneers to a 2024-2025 National Championship Runner Up finish, and a 2025-2026 Conference Championship. Bone averaged 9.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 1.3 apg in the 2024-25 season.
Bob Jones HS:  A 2024 AWSA Second-Team All-State Selection who scored over 1,000 points in her career. Bone was selected as a member of North All-Star team for the 2024 AHSAA North/South All-Star Game. She was also selected as a member of the Alabama All-Star team for 2024 Alabama vs. Mississippi All-Star game.

2024-25: Named to the All-GLVC First Team…played in 25 games with 24 starts and 29.5 minutes per game…led the team with 13.1 points per game, 328 total points, 48 three-pointers made and 65 assists…was fifth in the GLVC with 1.9 three-pointers made per game and 13th with her 13.1 points per game…put up a career-high 30 points on Feb. 13 against William Jewell …recorded six 20+ point games … named to the CSC Academic All-District team … earned the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award … named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
2023-24: Did not play due to injury…made the GLVC All-Academic Team…was a recipient of the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award.

Finished the year with 331 points, 186 rebounds (including 75 offensive boards), 23 assists, 23 steals and a team-best 31 blocks ... Reached double figures in scoring in 17 games, topped 20 points three times and grabbed 10 or more rebounds in six contests, recording six double-doubles ... #22 Keegan Yarick (5-8 Jr. G - Fort Scott, Kansas - Fort Scott HS - Butler CC)
Butler CC (2024-26): Helped the Grizzlies win a conference championship and earn a No. 1 ranking going into NJCAA tournament. She averaged 12.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2.5 apg and 2.5 spg in her sophomore season. A 1st team All-KJCCC selection and was named MVP of the conference tournament and was the Region 6 Tournament MVP. Yarick played in 65 total games and made 61 starts over her first two seasons.
Fort Scott HS: Scored over 1000 points in high school, and a unanimous 1st team All-SEK pick and Player of the Year finalist. She was a 4A 1st team all-state selection (Sports in Kansas, KBCA Academic All-State, KSHSAA Covered). Also competed in volleyball and track, and carried a 4.0 GPA.
