LEBANON, Ill. - Griffon Lacrosse (7-5, 3-1 GLVC) scored a 12-10 win at McKendree on Friday afternoon at Leemon Field in Lebanon.

The Griffons led 7-4 at halftime and led by as many as five goals in the third quarter. MoWest scored its last goal with 4:02 to go, as Ryann Durrett scored off an assist by Jessica Brook to put the Griffons up 12-8.

McKendree scored two goals in the last 2:11 of the match, but the Bearcats committed a turnover with 36 seconds remaining, sealing a Griffon win.

Durrett, Madi Brinkman and Maddie Chidester each registered a hat trick with three goals apiece. Brook and Maleah Sosa had three assists, while Olivia Fornelli had two assists to go with a single goal.

Ava Garaway got the save and the win in cage with 13 saves.

MoWest stays on the road Sunday, traveling to St. Louis to face No. 10 Maryville (10-3, 3-1 GLVC). First draw from the Maryville Athletics Complex is set for 11 a.m. The match will be available to watch on the Great Lakes Valley Conference Sports Network (GLVCSN.com).
