ST. JOSEPH, Mo. –  The Griffon men's basketball program finished the 2025-26 season ranked 10th nationally in Division II attendance, according to figures provided by the NCAA. 

MoWest averaged more than 1,140 fans per game inside the MWSU Fieldhouse, with a total attendance of 17,101. The Griffons finished with an 11-4 home record and a 21-12 overall mark, the highest win total in 23 years. 

"I knew coming in that MoWest was a special place," said first year Griffon head coach Brooks McKowen. "Our fans brought the energy every night and our guys felt that and fed off of it. It's important to me that our guys connect with St. Joseph and the surrounding communities and this is the result that we hope to continue for years to come."
