INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), in partnership with Athletic Solutions, announced its Week 2 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Griffon Lacrosse junior goalkeeper Ava Garaway earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honors, becoming the first Griffon Lacrosse student-athlete this season to receive a weekly award from the conference. This marks her second career GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honor, with her first coming on March 3, 2025.

Garaway played all 120 minutes in goal during MWSU's opening two games of its Colorado road swing, recording 20 total saves while facing 61 shots for a .541 save percentage. She totaled 11 saves against Westminster (UT) and followed with nine saves in a 9-7 road victory at Colorado Mesa.
