KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association released its academic honors for the 2025 men's and women's cross country seasons on Tuesday.
MoWest placed 12 student-athletes on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, with seven honorees from the women's team and five from the men's squad.
The women recognized were Yesenia Carillo-Morrales, Reagan Craig, Bailey Cutler, Bethani Grove, Maizie Hageman, Abby Kinney, and Abby Smith.
Kinney was also named a 2025 Women's ross Country Excellence Award recipient after posting a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
The men honored were Keelan Aita, Adam Ducey, Mason Orscheln, Logan Soedt, and Pau Valderrama.
To earn Academic Honor Roll distinction, student-athletes must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher, as used for NCAA academic certification by their institution, and complete at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
To earn Academic Excellence Award recipient must have a grade point average used by the institution for NCAA academic certification of at least 4.00 at the certifying member institution. The honoree also must have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
