ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Missouri Western State University Football has announced its Griffon Football Camps & Showcases, highlighted by six on-campus events running from April through June.

Griffon Football will kick off its camp schedule with a Junior Day Showcase on April 18. The day will consist of high school student-athletes attending and viewing a full spring practice. This will provide an opportunity to see position coaches in action and witness the level of football in the MIAA. After practice, participants will tour the football facilities before partaking in the showcase. This will be the very first opportunity to be seen by our coaching staff. Campers will receive elite-level instruction in a fast-paced and competitive environment. The Griffon Football coaching staff and current MoWest players will lead instruction. Walk-up registration is welcome!
Our Specialist Showcase will have one main goal: to properly evaluate your specialist skills and receive constructive feedback from college coaches and current athletes. There will be a coaching portion after the grading and testing portion is completed. On top of the instruction and coaching, we provide a beginner level that includes all ages of specialists! Like every other camp, we want you to leave with performance reviews and coaching. The cost of camp varies depending on the position you register for. Walk-up registration is welcome!
Youth Camp for 2nd through 8th grade. This camp is a great way for youth athletes to learn fundamentals and new techniques to help improve overall skill. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to learn from our experienced Football Coaches and current student-athletes at Missouri Western State University. Griffon football camps are specifically designed to help youth athletes excel and broaden their knowledge in the game of football. Camp runs from 9 AM - 12 PM each day, with check-in at 8:30 AM. The cost of camp is $75. Please bring water bottles and tennis shoes. Walk-up registration is welcome!
8-Man and 11-Man Team Camps are for high school teams looking to prepare for an outstanding 2026 season. Missouri Western State University is the Home of the Missouri High School State Championships for all levels. Our team camps provide an opportunity for full-contact, competitive, and heavily monitored team reps over a two-day period. The three previous summers, we have hosted teams from Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa, along with State qualifiers from the state of Missouri. Costs vary depending on what opportunity teams register for. Campers must bring helmets, mouthpieces, shoulder pads, and practice gear.
Our Elite Prospect camp is for 9th thru 12th grade. This camp is a great way for young athletes to develop their skills, technique, and fundamentals. Campers will receive elite-level instruction in a fast-paced and competitive environment. The MoWest coaching staff and current MoWest players will lead instruction. An informational email regarding parking, check-in, pick-up location, and what to bring will be emailed to participants approximately one week before camp. Walk-up registration will be available the morning of camp for $70. A Parent or Guardian must be present to provide consent and sign camp waivers.
