ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - MoWest fall sports student-athletes will paint St. Joseph gold this weekend.

The annual "Black is Gold" Community Blitz takes place on Saturday, September 6th. Members of the Griffon football, soccer, cross country and spirit and band programs will be at six different area businesses to distribute free posters and schedule cards. The following Griffon Athletics partners will serve as host sites 

St. Joseph Chick-Fil-A:  9am - 12pm
St. Joseph HyVee:  9am-1pm
Rogers Pharmacy: 9am-1pm
Hazel's Coffee and Roasting Company: 9am - 1pm

Buffalo Wild Wings: 11am - 1pm
