Soccer hits the road for MIAA opener against Rogers State

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Soccer (4-0-1) kicks off its MIAA schedule with a road trip to Rogers State on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Soldier Field in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Fans can watch the match on the MIAA Network and stay updated through live stats as well.

MoWest enters their conference slate unbeaten for a second year in a row with a 4-0-1 overall record, carrying a two-match win streak and proving strong both at home (2-0) and on the road (2-0-1).

The Griffons look to extend their unbeaten run and establish themselves early in league play, just like they did in 2024. Griffon Soccer, last season, got off to a program record best 14-0-3 start, including a 9-0-2 start in league play.

Rogers State comes in at 0-2-3 overall, still seeking its first victory of the season after a mix of narrow setbacks and draws.

The Hillcats are 0-2-2 at home and 0-0-1 away, aiming to turn momentum in their favor with the league opener.  The Hillcats have scored at least one goal in every match they've played in this year.

MoWest is 4-1 against RSU in soccer all-time, winning each of the last four meetings since 2021.
