EDMOND, Okla. - Griffon tennis (4-9, 1-5 MIAA) hit a road block on Saturday afternoon, as they fell to Central Oklahoma (6-5, 2-2 MIAA) 5-2 at Broncho Courts.

The Bronchos started the duel with strong momentum, securing the doubles point with victories in doubles No. 2 and No. 3. In doubles No. 1, the team of
Cristina Granero Boj and
Elena Rey Garcia defeated Anika Ouwejan and Nefeli Zafeiri with a score of 6-3.

In singles competition, Granero Boj improved her record to 9-4 by winning the singles No. 1 match against UCO's Pete Komado, with set scores of 6-4, 6-3.
Johanna Priedite also achieved victory in singles No. 2, defeating Zafeiri with scores of 6-2, 6-3.

Missouri Western will return home on Wednesday, April 16, to take on seventh-ranked Washburn. The match is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Noyes Tennis Courts.
