Knisley and Froehlich named to the D2CCA All-Central Region Teams

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Two Griffon soccer players Kendall Knisley and Nicoletta Froehlich were named to the 2025 D2CCA Women's Soccer All-Central Teams on Tuesday afternoon.

Kendall Knisley was named First-Team All-Central Region as a midfielder, and with this accolade, she will advance to the D2CCA All-American ballot. Knisley put together a steady and efficient offensive season, finishing with 8 goals, 5 assists, and a team-leading 21 points across 22 matches. She generated 70 total shots with 39 on target, averaging 3.18 attempts per match while consistently creating pressure in the attacking third. With four game-winning contributions and reliable involvement in MoWest's build-up play, Knisley closed the regular season as the Griffons' leading point producer while maintaining consistent attacking output from start to finish.

Nicoletta Froehlich earned Second-Team All-Central Region honors after delivering one of the most reliable defensive campaigns of the 2025 season. She started all 22 matches and anchored the Griffon back line with a team-high 1,925 minutes, showcasing exceptional durability with 16 full 90-minute games. Froehlich also provided key contributions in attack, finishing with 1 goal, 3 assists, 5 points, 10 shots, 3 shots on goal, and a game-winning goal. Her consistency, defensive presence, and ability to distribute and join the attack made her one of MoWest's most trusted and steady performers throughout the year.
